investment that supports economic growth and creates jobs. USCIS defines it as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program provides a method for eligible Immigrant Investors to become lawful permanent residents\u2026 by investing capital in a new commercial enterprise in the United States that creates or preserves 10 permanent full-time jobs for qualified U.S. workers.\u201d<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscis.gov\/working-in-the-united-states\/permanent-workers\/employment-based-immigration-fifth-preference-eb-5\/about-the-eb-5-visa-classification?utm_source=chatgpt.com\">USCIS<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">USCIS policy on EB-5 is detailed in <strong>Volume 6, Part G<\/strong> of its Policy Manual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Things to know:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Investment Thresholds<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Standard Investment: $1,050,000.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Targeted Employment Area (TEA)<\/strong>: <strong>$800,000<\/strong> if located in rural areas or high-unemployment zones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Job Creation Mandate<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The investment must create or preserve 10 full-time jobs for U.S. workers, to be established within two years of conditional residency. These can be\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Direct jobs (within the NCE).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Indirect jobs (through models in regional center projects).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>&nbsp;Direct vs. Regional Center Investments<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For direct investment, the investor runs or sets up the enterprise directly and hires 10 full-time workers.
